An Unforgettable    Journey In My Life

We went on a trip to Sigiriya recently. I went my friends. We went by bus. We reached Sigiriya at 8.00am. The Sigiriya fortress was built by King Kashyapa. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colourful frescoes. The height of the rock is nearly 100 meters. I saw the Lion Gate, the mirror wall, landscaped gardens, water gardens and caves in Sigiriya. We had our lunch there. We took photographs. In the evening we returned home. It was an Unforgettable Journey for us.
